Why did we decide to stay in NIRWANA GARDENS in the first place? TRAVEL TRAVEL gave us a feedback that this is a great place to stay in BINTAN.. And when we got there, here are our comments:
After getting off from the ferry, there will be crews from the hotel looking for you, and they will get and carry your baggages.
There will be a free shuttle to take you to the hotel.
The check in time is 3pm but we were there as early as 12 noon. We waited for more than 2 hours before we get our room.
The service of the poolside restaurant is very poor. We only ordered 2 dishes and it took more than 30 minutes before it was served. On the other table was a group of about 12 westerns, whom arrived as the same time as we do, and they were almost finished when our food was served.
They informed us that we can check in at 2pm, but our room was not yet made up at 2pm. So we decided to get whatever room was ready at that time.
The room was nice, just good for 2 persons, but the furnitures are old. It seems that the bed sheet and the pillowcases were not changed, the toiletries were not completely given, the sofa looks like its gonna break when my friend sits on it. The television is old, remote control not functioning properly unless you press it hard.
There is a giant chessboard for kids, a table tennis, arcade games, board games for rent. All these are available and will be very helpful for those having holidays with their kids.
