PREAPARATION..is it?
Actually, this whole Bintan trip was not really planned. We just booked our tour 3 days before the tour itself. And man!! It was really a rush decision that I made, especially I am on budget during those times since it was Christmas season.
This Bintan tour was made possible by the travel and tour guide that we saw in Plaze Singapura, just right after we had our lunch. We should have not take a few walks!!! Coz that lead us to this travel agency and since this little Marlenie was so eager to push this through, it looked like i didn't have a choice.
Well, we cannot back out anymore. We are planning to use Marlenie's HSBC credit card but since we are on the last minute booking, the travel agecny asked us tro pay it for cash instead..well. the i paid for it.
In other words, so we go..Using my luggage bag that i just bought from Carrefour for only half the prize ( geezz,,. too many items on sale coz it is Christmas season!!) and i let Marlenie borrowed my other bag that I haven't used yet, so she don't have to carry that BIG luggage that she used when she came from Manila.
All fits..my swimsuit ( i bought in Bargain! imagine buying a Speedo one pice swimsuit for only half the regular price) and all the toiletries we need..shampoo, conditioner, sunblock lotion, moisturizer, everything! and then , excitedly, we are on our way!!!! so on the 12th of December, we set foot to Bintan...=)
We were the last pair to get into the ferry. We were so dozzy since we slept so late the night before. And that was the worst ferry ride I ever had. Does it have something to do with the fear that the Tsunami might happen again? hahahaha! kidding aside, maybe that's the effect of taking a ferry, just like a speed boat, and then crossing the whole Pacific Ocean. The thought makes me shiver...
